questions

asked

Q: What does the BCM do?

A: We have weekly events, as well as special events. We are also a registered student organization with our own intramural teams. We have conveniently placed all of our weekly and special events under our Get Involved tab. The BCM is open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Q: How can I be a cluster leader?

A: To become a cluster leader, you must first be an active member of a weekly cluster meeting. From there, someone on the current leadership team must see leadership potential in you over the course of the school year. If you are recommended for a certain position, the President of the BCM will take all of the recommendations into consideration for the next year.

Q: Is it only for baptists?

A: We welcome all denominations! The BCM is funded by the 126 District 8 Baptist Churches, in conjunction with the Louisiana Baptist Convention. For that reason we are called the "Baptist Collegiate Ministry."

Q: Does it cost money?

A: Most of our public events are free for NSU students. However, we do occasionally sell t-shirts, go to overnight conferences, or mission trips where costs are involved.

Q: Where is the BCM located on campus?

A: The BCM is located directly across the street from Prather Coliseum, on Organization Row. Our address is 500 Caspari Street, Natchitoches, LA 71497.
